Recently had graduation party for my son and I ordered the rib tips and chicken ( real pit barbequed chicken...not fried with sauce on it!!) The tips were very meaty and tender, sauce was delicious sweet but not too sweet, large pan of tips was more than enough, had about 12 people there was plenty of meat left that everyone had heaping plates to take home and I still had plenty left for home. large pan could easily feed about 15 to 20. Chicken was meaty and tender, sauce was mild but they have hot for those who like the heat! Also ordered pan of peach cobbler, very good!! I was very pleased, this is now my barbeque spot and believe me I have tried a lot of 'que spots. Customer service was great, Gail was very helpful when placing my order. Give Best Bar B Que a try, you won't be disappointed!!!

I eat here every week. Why? Because I'm hooked. The brisket is the thing they're best known for and it's terrific, but I like the ribs, chicken and pulled pork a lot, too. I alternate them just to keep things interesting. But I come for the sides just as much as the meats. The bbq beans taste like God spooned them into your mouth personally. They have some of the best french fries in town and on days when I can give one of those two sides up, the homemade mac and cheese is outrageously good. They make all their own sauces on premises and the staff is friendly and helpful. I try to stay away for as long as I can but 7 days seems to be about my limit. Pray for me!
The best thing about the chicken is the sauce. All the Uncle Remus restaurants are stingy with their sauce. Most everyone wants their chicken to have sauce to cover the chicken and they only put small amounts on the chicken. You have to purchase extra sauce. This doesn't work well because the chicken is better when it has soaked in the chicken. Sometimes they will tell you that they are putting extra or enough sauce on the chicken, but when you get it, it's almost sauceless. :-( That's one reason and they are slow because they talk too much to each other. Otherwise, I would give them 5 stars instead of 3.
