My house main water pipe busted at the meter last freeze and the city went out shut the water off on Sunday. The city did not return to inspect the meter until the following Wednesday. I got home and found out that the break is on our private side and desperately need an available plumber to fix it. I called over 37 different plumbing and was told they were all booked through the 2nd week of December. I ran into Edco Plumbing Heating & Air in Yellow book and the office staff told me she would get someone right out. Matt and Ed showed up within 30 mins. Wow! what's fast service. They both explained to me the problem and solution. They also educate me about a new connection that would give the pipe some room to work when the ground got freeze or too hot. Needless to say, they are very professional and is the most informative plumber I've ever known. They went to work on the pipe immediately and thank to them my family has our water back. I can't thank them enough to know what it was like for our family to go without water for days. If I ever have any plumbing problems in the future, I will probably give Edco a call. They are local family own and operate. They are also license and bonded. They are also have competitive price and great rating on BBB. Give them a call, you won't regret it.

From Business: After over 40 years, we are still family owned and operated. It is this philosophy that keeps the quality of our work uncompromised, as we are able to be very hands…
We had a broken water pipe under our concrete floor which flooded most of our house. We called a plumber to come find the leak and fix it. The plumber said he would be there the same day but did not show up until the next day. After searching for the leak, the plumber said he was "pretty sure" of where the leak was and gave us an estimate of $5,400 to fix it. We weren't very satisfied with someone being "pretty sure" of where the leak was so we called Boss Plumbing for a second opinion. We spoke with Rick and when we explained our situation, he showed up within two hours to help. After searching for the leak, he found it. The leak turned out to be about 12 feet away from where the first guy said it was. He then gave us an estimate which was less than half of what the first guy was going to charge us. He seemed very sure of where the leak was and his ability to fix it so we gave him the job. He started early the next morning and by the end of the day not only was the leak fixed, but the concrete was replaced as well. He left no mess and even recommended a good tile guy to replace our tile. We were very pleased with Rick's job and will definately call him for any future plumbing jobs. He is a true professional! Thanks Rick!
I have had issues with my kitchen sink drain off and on for years. A friend of mine recommended I call Pro-drain. Well, Gary, from Pro-Drain shows up. He has to go in under the sink cause there is no clean out and snakes the line. He is unable to get through the clog at one point so he checks the other clean outs. He realizes then that the Kitchen sink clean out is under the sink. He realizes its going to require someone checking the line with a camera and probably putting in a new drainage line. Gary is very nice and was very professional the entire time he was in my house. Very respectful too. I expected to pay a service fee even though he couldn't fix it. He absolutely refused to charge me a fee for coming out since he couldn't fix the problem. I was amazed. I felt I should pay him something but he refused. What a nice guy. I am getting a new drain line put in but if I ever have any other clog issues I'm calling him. I highly recommend anyone else with clogs call him as well. Its all he does and he is good but even he can't fix all the clogs.
