LOVE THIS STORE!! I don't know where some of these reviews are coming from... I have shopped there for many years and can't get enough! I also like to sale my clothes there and I ALWAYS get more for my clothes at Daisy Exchange than Plato's closet. In addition, their selection is SO much newer, nicer, and far more trendy. Just the other day I got a pair of designer heels for $20. I Googled them: they cost $120 new at Dillard's! The employees always greet me and are friendly. Maybe the whole customer service bit was just a phase, a bad hire, or some people having a bad day that spurred the terrible reviews?? Who knows... On any account, I can only tell you what I know and that is: I have received nothing but courtesy, respect, and helpful fashion advice every time I have shopped there. Over all its a great place for a fashion forward college student who is on a tight budget to shop!

I am impressed, not only with the reasons for this business, but when I first arrived at the shop I was greeted personally by a volunteer. I was told of the specials for the day and directed to my preferences in the shop. I felt comfortable in the clean and orderly (and may I say nice smelling) surroundings. If I had questions I was helped quickly. Upon checking out, I found my self smiling as I was invited back. I knew I would come because my experience was great. My second visit proved to be the best selling point. Not only did the volunteer remember my name but she remembered what I was looking for the first time and directed me to the rack with the sales I preferred! I left my donations with her and proceded to shop....again. I have been back to both shop and donate. I have found my only clothing store and I love it.
This is a wonderful place to find very nice, typically upscale things for infants and young children. For example, I recently purchased an Eddie Bauer travel system complete w/ stroller, car seat, two seat bases in excellent condition for $120; the system plus two bases costs well over $300 new. I also bought two Pottery Barn framed pictures for $15 (the price tags on the back were for $39.95 each). The staff is very helpful and very honest. For example, the pictures I saw still had the $39.95 Pottery Barn tag on the back, so I was prepared to pay that for the pair -- until they informed me that they were only $15. I highly recommend this business.
