Rickys Cafe

The food is really good at this restaurant. The service is decent overall. They include chips and dip when you buy a meal. It is cheaper to eat there on weekdays during lunch. On the weekend it is about $11 per person. I think the price is worth it. It is a fun place to go. I like the lunch fajitas. I like their tortillas. I have bought a dozen of them before for around $3. It is nice to have fresh made tortillas when I want to cook at the house. Overall not perfect but a pretty good place to eat.

So we heard Rickys new place in moore was a nice place. We walked in and there was a line waiting. Put our names on the list and watched them seat 2 parties that came in after us before we said something to the hostess.. she politely apoligzed and promptly sit us down. they brought our menus and the typical chips and salsa with cheese, took our drink order and said they would be right back for our order. after 25 minutes of waiting the manager walked by and asked us how our evening was so far and i promptly replied well we have been waiting quite along time for someone to come take our order. (by this time we finished the bowl of chips and salsa as well as oru soft drinks were empty) he says i am sorry ill get your waiter and walks off. couple of minutes later a waiter rushes over to the table next to us and proceeds to take thier order and they had just been seated not 5 minutes before hand. I was so upset we got up, told the hostess what had happened and she told us dont worry about paying for the drinks or chips and we proceeded to Las Fajitas (EXCELLENT SERVICE AND FOOD!!!!) On the way my wife called to speak with the manager and just so happened the hostess answered, saying she was the manager and asked my wife, "Your the woman that just walked out arent you?" when my wife replied yes she abruptly hung up the phone.. Needless to say i will NEVER eat at any of Rickys establishments again.. BAD SERVICE.. HORRIBLE SERVICE TIME.. CANT TELL YOU HOW THE FOOD WAS.. we spent 45 minutes there and never even had our order taken..

Negatives: Awful, bland food. Rice and beans must have come from a can and box. Flavorless sour cream chicken enchilada. Tacos came in greasy, soft tortillas. Not a good value considering the price I paid for such cheap food. Even the "large" margarita was overpriced at $7.99 -- it should have been huge for that price! No food or drink specials. Will never go back.



Positives: FREE warm chips, (bad) flour tortillas, salsa & queso and a delicious sopapilla. Fast service. Good service. Drink Refills. Atmosphere was ok.
