The Aging Services Division is a part of the Oklahoma Department of Human Services, Oklahoma City. The division provides leadership in issues of concern to senior citizens. It helps to develop community-based systems that support independence and protect the quality of life for senior citizens. The Aging Services Division also offers legal referral and information services. The division provides public transportation services for individuals with disabilities. It offers information about housing alternatives. The division provides programs that feature assistance with bathing, grooming, toileting and light housekeeping. Its Ombudsman Program serves residents in long-term care facilities, including nursing units, assisted living and adult care homes. The Aging Services Division additionally offers respite and day care services.
