Staying true to our mission statement, here at Herban Gardens, our focus is to promote a healthy lifestyle. We do so by providing a line of healthy products to our customers. Our product line includes clean food, natural skin care, and a guide to a healthy eating habit. ​ Our first product that Herban Gardens provides is culinary herbs and produce. When you purchase produce and herbs from Herban Gardens, you are guaranteed that you are eating clean, healthy food, free of pesticides, herbicides and GMO’s. Herban Gardens practices natural and sustainable gardening practices. We utilize ladybugs, praying mantis, and nematodes for our pest control. Practicing sustainable gardening, we save our seeds from harvest to harvest for the following season resources. We also make our own compost for our garden needs. This ensures a pure heirloom variety year after year. Our natural gardening practices ensure our customers that they are eating clean food that is free of herbicides, pesticides or any GMO's Our second product that Herban Gardens provides is our skincare line. Quench your moisture starved skin with Herban Mother skincare line. Staying true to an all-natural lifestyle, the skincare line is Herban Mother’s answer to daily moisturizing using all-natural ingredients. The natural alluring scents of chocolate/orange, orange/mango, lavender/mint, and lemon/eucalyptus, leaves skin smelling like a tropical island. Herban Mother contains no waxes, lotions, or creams. Herban Mother skincare line is oil based ingredients. We find that the oil penetrates the epidermis more readily than a cream or lotion. This means that you will not feel like you are wearing a layer of something on your skin as you do with creams or lotions. Because our products are oil-based, a little goes a long way making our product very economical. Take care of your skin the natural way, you will feel the difference. Herban Gardens’ owners and operators, Hector and Mary, offer a short read called “Skinny, Living the Dream.” The book highlights our lifelong struggle with being overweight, which finally led to obesity and a life-threatening health condition. In the book we share our battle, our sickness, our turnaround moment, and finally our journey to regain our health and life back. The book contains a short shopping list, as well as a handful of recipes. We do not claim to be nutritional experts by printing this book; we are simply sharing what worked for us. We lost 150 and 125 pounds in six months. This short read will tell you what worked for us. That was over three years ago, with no weight gain return. The secret is, “it is not a diet, it’s a lifestyle change.” We are not trying to sell anyone a lifestyle, we are just sharing our lifestyle with everyone.
