I was given a tour of this home a few…
I was given a tour of this home a few weeks ago, when I was looking to place my grandfather in a nursing home. It's currently being remodeled. The home was beautiful, and smelled clean. The staff were very friendly and upbeat. The staff interacted with the residents as if they were their own family. The director of nurses spoke with me briefly, and she was very professional, and disclosed the latest state inspection results for the home (2011), which they scored perfectly with no deficiencies found. It has a beauty shop, social services, activities, an annual soul food festival, and an experienced staff that have worked there for quite some time.
