Disappointed with the Okc store. Had my eye exam there. It was good, service was great.

Then when I brought my frame for them to put the prescription lenses in (transition black, and all the other fancy stuff I could) I was charged 183$. Fine. When I came to get them there was a glare and they said I hadn't asked for anti-glare coat when hey offered it to me... Funny, cause no one offered it to me or I would've said yes. It cost additional 60-70 dollars and had to wait one week because they sent them to California. It was painful but i said yes, too late to have them done online like I had originally thought.

I called yesterday (4 days after the day when they were supposed to be back), cause no one had called me and they said they were ready and someone had attempted to contact me the day before.... No one called me the day before. Finally I go today and after 20 minutes of waiting they let me know that they aren't ready... The lab person had set them aside because he/she thought they were ready. "That's what happens when you employ 18 year-olds," she said. The lady said she called the other store and they have what it takes to get me my lenses with all the stuff I want and they will be as good as the other place in California where they were supposed to send it but didn't... The lenses will be ready tomorrow. I'm supremely disappointed why didn't they just do that in the first place?! Are u getting any more money by making me wait?!

Don't waste your time or money.

Got an exam & glasses there - knew right away something wasn't right & employee wouldn't listen.

I went to a new place & found out the prescription was wrong.

When I asked for a refund all they wanted to do was "give me another exam for free"

They finally agreed to give me a refund on the glasses only - minus a 20% restocking fee.

Sure their exam is $45 but it's also $45 at Eyemart's DR. jones. I have always been disappointed with their quality and horrible service. My mom just had to pay to replace her broken lenses because she didn't she'll out for the warranty; I got mine replaced FOR FREE at Eyemart because of their free 1 year frame warranty. Mom just got hers 4 months ago!!! Stay away. They are greedy, rude little money-grubbers!!!

Bait and switch!!' Cheap exam but ended up paying over $300 for contacts!!! Just say no!

When we asked the woman at the front desk some questions about prices etc., she acted annoyed to even deal with us. We felt as if she didn't want any customers. The price she quoted initially seemed reasonable, but then a customer on his way out told us that he was charged a $100 fitting fee, and that they would only prescribe their overpriced contacts, and wouldn't give him a prescription to get lenses online or anywhere else. I would be surprised if they remain in business for much longer! Don't touch this place with a ten foot pole :-\

Why can't we rate zero or negative stars? Are you just looking for a simple eye exam so you can buy your contacts or glasses anywhere? Well buddy, you found the WRONG place. They dont tell you until AFTER you pay for their exam thet they will ONLY sell you contacts after they charge you a $90 fitting fee and then will ONLY sell you that exact brand. Need a theatrical set of contacts? Well you'll find out that because they do not sell them, you can't even pay them the $90 fitting charge, and they WILL NOT authorize pricriptions from contact websites. So in other words they will rip you off! Go somewhere else!

I was not impressed with the service here. First of all they advertise a $49 contact lens exam, what they fail to tell you is that to actually receive a prescription they will charge you another $100 for a contact lens fitting?!? I have worn contacts for about the last 16 years, I'm pretty sure I know how to put them on. I was also concerned when they gave me a prescription that was much weaker than the previous one I had been in for years, and I could not see well. When I questioned it, I was told my vision must have improved? They were also very pressure sales about ordering contacts directly from them. Instead I went home to order contacts online from walgreens(obviously cheaper) and Eyecare refused to verify my prescription with Walgreens, stating that I was an unknown customer. Awful, Awful, Awful. Needless to say after being cheated out of over $150 bucks I will be going to a REAL doctor! Stay away!

Very Poor service, Quality is horrible, their people do not know what they are doing.

Don't use this company! They hire unprofessional, untrained, rude employees who don't know how to think on their own. I received the wrong prescription for contacts from the eye doctor. I cancelled the order but was told they could not give me a refund. (Turns out my eyes had not changed at all. Lori had written down the wrong prescription off my original contact lens boxes when I checked in. I still had plenty of the old prescription left.) Even though the order hadn't been processed they wouldn't give me a refund. I went back for a second exam to get the right prescription and picked out frames for new glasses. The glasses were never ordered! I was told they couldn't give me a refund. Only someone named Allison had the power to issue refunds and apparently she leaves early. I spent over $400 at their store - don't be fooled by their low, come-on prices. They have hidden fees and don't give refunds and don't fill their orders. They are a bunch of crooks preying on people with poor vision who want to be able to see. They have offices in OKC, MWC, Moore, and Altus. www.eyecarediscount.com

I needed glasses but didn't have much $ to spend. A friend told me about the 947-EYES place that her whole family has used for over 20 years, said they were the for real the best prices. When I went to them I got glasses for $21 (the whole pair) and a exam for $45! Spent less than $70 bucks and I love my glasses. Highly recommend 947-EYES to all my friends and family.

I was getting my contacts and glasses there for years the older lady was real good and knew what she was doing the current lady with long black hair that they have now does not she did not follow the advise of the Doctor or me she really seemed just to be trying on suff then ordering more to get me out of there fast after my 4th or 5th visit she acted like it was my fault and i was the problem and got mad at me I will never again go there again
