Worst Birthday Present Ever? RESOLVED

My father bought my sister a $200 gift card for Eden Salons for her birthday this year. She decided to spend the bulk of it on a ""girl's day"", taking my mom and I with her for pedicures on a Saturday. This was the only Eden location with slots open and now I know why. We were kept waiting almost an hour for our 11 am appointment. Clients that arrived 30 minutes late for their earlier appointments were seen before us and we had arrived 15 minutes early. Others were offered drinks and something to read, we were left to sit. There are only two pedicure stations so there was a further wait as we could not all be in the room at the same time. This was my first salon pedicure and frankly, I can do better myself. I still had a visible callus while leaving the salon. I also needed to repaint my nails as soon as I arrived home due to them being smudged after my technician was told by another employee that I was ""in the way"" and ""needed to dry anywhere else"" because she had ""a very important client coming in"" so I needed to move. Flip flops were shoved on my feet and I was escorted back out to the waiting room for another 15 minutes while I waited for an eyebrow wax. Two and a half hours later, we left with a disappointed birthday girl and $60 left on a gift card we may never use again. UPDATE: Four months after our trip to Eden we have received a full refund for the purchase of the gift card hence the review change from 1 to 3 stars.

Unfriendly staff and lacking in basic texturizing techniques. Not on par\r with the salon I expected them to be. Gave them two chances, will not give it another go.\r A true dissappointment.

Eden on Warwick Dr is the best hair salon I have found. Jeff does my hair. He does an excellent job with cut, color, and style. I have had trims by other stylist there also when Jeff was off. They are all good. Eden Salon and Day Spa is an upscale facility kept spotless clean. The manicure and pedicure is a real treat. My nails look great. I know I can count on Eden's to not cut corners or be lax about cleanliness of the pedicure equipment.
