Just dropped off my bed spread as I have for several years now. They have brand new machines and the place looks great! As always I was greeted by a very kind staff member and will be able to pick up my clean bed linens in a day or two. They are very reasonably priced and I am always pleased with their work!
Well the place needs to be updated. The staff was very friendly. Washer left some stains on my brand new jersey. I dropped off my laundry on Saturday and it was ready before the time they stated (which is nice) HOWEVER, they charge me $40.00 for three bags of clothes. I won't be doing that or going back again
I now work here and management and everything has changed everyone there now is nice and we help when it's needed please stop back by we are so much better than the management before the general manager is Teresa managers are Stephen and Linda and there's me as an attendant Nick there's the owner Chris still and everything is much better please come by again well do much better than your previous experiences also we have free wifi now and everything is cleaner now and working better

I went to retrieve my goose down comforter and was told they didn't have it - so I let the girl know that I knew they had it and to find it. She got really defensive and became beligerant and started yelling at me that I was being rude so I told her she was rude at which she went back and miraculously found my comforter. I have never been treated like that in the past. Whoever has taken this laundry mat over sure wont stay in business too long with people like that working for them. I will spread thru word of mouth how rude and disorganized they are. I would not recommend this place to even an enemy. Maybe they have a chance but they should fire anyone who was a defintate threat to their business. Based on these other reveiws it looks like I'm not the only one who has had a very bad experience with this place.
I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau because the new owner, Chris, will not reimburse me for laundry which they lost from their bundle laundry service. Thankfully, this process is almost at an end. For a full hamper of clothing, 14 shirts and 4 pairs of shorts, he offered to pay me only $150. He started out at $100. This is not even $10 per item lost. The shirts were all new and cost from $20-50 per shirt. The shorts cost at least $25.00 each. Since they don't give you a receipt based on weight or an itemized receipt, this is going to be fun to argue in small claims court. I would rather do my wash by hand in the bath tub than trust any clothing to this establishment. I was never aware that Doug and Lyn no longer owned the laundry until this loss occurred.

On a Tuesday afternoon My son and I went in to Doug's
Coin-Op on 5817 NW 50th street, in Warr Acres only to find ourselfs being asked to leave and the police being called on us- The next thing we found ourselves being accused of vandalism-Although NOT Charged...The one Warr Acres officer out of three that wound up showing up was extremely RUDE his name is Officer Darryl Goodman #201 I insisted that a ""Hate Crime"" report be made and he refused to do such but rather make my son and I feel like the criminals..The issue?? We were loading the washers and had to use so many due to the badgering of a woman called Milly, A long stringy dark haired overwieght woman with tatoos on her arms as she felt we were overloading the washers -We had just started the loading and had thrown only a few socks and three t-shirts...She (Milly) then went on to picking on my son of whom has a speech impairment. After about six or eight washers were loaded up we needed to keep track of which ones were our and so my son used this ""FREE"" pamphlete from the Navy as he had an interest in joining; he tore the pamphlet so it could still be read going the long way as it was an 81/2 by 11 trifold glossey we used two of them as they were ""FREE"" one per person and placed one crd on each washer containing our clothes...We were told that the owner had called and told this woman to ask us to leave..With the wet clothes..,.Calling what my son had done as VANDALISM!!! The Officer didnt agree to her use in the term vandalism but did recognise the establishments right to refuse service...I never disagreed with leaving and insisted with doing such after how we were treated....The officer knowing I was upset insisted on doing a thurough background search and refuse to allow me to leave even with the searches being cleared, I feel this behavior only added to this outrageouse situation and this officer should have been a little more sensitive to the situation...As mentioned three officers arrived Officer Taylor was a little better at understanding but had been ordered by Darryl Goodman #201 to do the searches...Shame on you Milly the employee at Doug's Coin-Op and to officer Goodman #201 for your insensativity, lack of compansion and after seeing what this woman Milly was complaining about..The ""Hate Crime"" charge I insisted on should have come to no question!!!

The new owner of Doug's, someone named Chris, will not reimburse me for a hamper of my clothing that I left for his bundle laundry service. This was 6 weeks ago and all he will offer for 14 men's snap closure shirts and 4 men's cargo shorts, and the hamper is $150. The only local store that currently has snap shirts is Shepler's and they want $50 plus tax per shirt. I tried to settle for a reasonable amount but Chris refused. He will not talk to me by phone and evidently is rarely in the laundry. Linda, the manager, is the only one with whom I have spoken. Yesterday I filed a complaint with a consumer mediation group, of which he is not a member, in hopes they can help resolve this impasse. If this fails, I plan to take him to small claims court to recoup my loss. Ray must have the snap shirts due to severe psoriatic arthritis and screws in his fingers. We are both disabled and the hassle of trying to find replacements and deal with an absentee owner is just too much. All these shirts and shorts were fairly new, some of them were purchased in McPherson, KS which is a 500 mile roundtrip and requires gas, meals, and an overnight stay to go back up there. If we can't buy the shirts locally, we must order out online, pay shipping and tax, and guess as to the size, fit and appearance of the shirts. Please watch here for updates.
I've been going to Doug's for 15 years, mostly to have my bedding cleaned with thier overnite service. Since Doug, left I have never had such awful service! This sort of thing happens every time I go (and I have friends and co-workers that experience the same), but today it just hit me funny and I feel I need to share my experience. Linda, the Manager has always been THE RUDEST person you could imagine. You know the Seinfield show "The Soup Nazi", well, she's the "Laundry Nazi" but 10 fold! This morning I went in a little too early on my way to work, (she doesn't want you in there before 7, yet the door was unlocked so I went in around 6:58 thinking since it was unlocked maybe I'd be ok) BOY, what was I thinking!! She came out and says "SO, I see you went through the employees door, we're not open yet" (It's a double door, push one, pull the other). Granted, this lady doesn't remember me from Adam and treats everyone this way. I graciously said "I'm sorry, it was unlocked, I thought I could just drop this off", she says "well, all the lights aren't on, you'd think that would've been your first clue". I couldn't believe what I was hearing. So for the first time in 15 years, I walked out of Dougs Laundry and decided to find another facility. Unfortunately they may be the only game in the town of Bethany, but does that give you the right to be so rude?
