My husband dropped his car off on Friday evening to get a diagnostic run on it on Saturday. When he dropped it off the service representative treated him like he was ignorant when he was just trying to make sure he wasn't getting a service he had already gotten earlier that day (at Hibdon's he got a diagnostic done but they told him to take it to a dealer for a more in-depth one). The man told my husband he would get a phone call the next day to update him on the service but that it might be Monday before it got completed. He never got a phone call Saturday, and since he was at school all day, asked me to call to get an update on the car. When I called (at 1:55PM) I did not know that the receptionist answers the phone for both Kia & VW and did not ask me which service dept I needed to speak with, she just transferred me to VW. The lady there was rude and told me she had several customers with the same name as my husbands and she needed to know what kind of car. I told her I didn't know (all I knew was it is a Kia). And she told me she couldn't tell me since I didn't know what kind of car. So I said, "well can you look it up by phone number?" and she said yes in a very rude and condescending tone. She then proceeded to be rude telling me she was in VW and hung up on me - transferring me to some guy's voicemail. So I hung up and tried the original # again, but this time was specific and asked for the Kia Service Dept. She then informed me that (it is now 1:59PM) they leave at 2PM and no one would be back there. I told her I was supposed to get a call and did not receive one and asked firmly to speak to a manager. To make the rest of this review short... basically everyone I talked to were rude and condescending. I did finally get a manager to call me back and got the information I was needing. I am a business owner myself in the service industry, who knows how true customer service should be, and this service I got was nothing even close. Most of my dealings with car dealers have not pleasant and this was no exception. It's really sad how bad the service is in the car industry. Another disappointment.
