I simply do not have time to haggle over a few dollars, rates, etc. I first visited another VW dealership close by and got the high pressure sales experience, which was a total turn-off for me. After a few phone calls to Ron Roe at Cable VW (on my way from the other dealer), I had already found the car I wanted and come to an agreement on terms. The sales process was simple and expedited by Jon Cable himself, the people were great, and it was a truly enjoyable experience.

I want to make sure that CABLE Volkswagon is aware of how wonderful our experience was when purchasing our car there. They have great customer service. We initially did not find what we wanted but they were more than happy to continue looking until we found exactly what we were looking for. They communicated back & forth with us quickly, whether by email or phone call or fax. I could always get a hold of someone, voice my concern & get an answer right away. We are thoroughly enjoying our vehicle now & thanks to CABLE volkswagon they made it a fun & easy experience. They took the extra time to explain my cars features & help me with the setting & they didnt even have too. They went above & beyond! We appreciate all their hard work.
Thank You CABLE Volkswagon!
This is the best place to buy your next vehicle! The employees are very friendly and helpful. Buying a car can be really intimidating but they made the process extremely easy and feel very confident in my purchase. My salesman explained all of the features on the car and the maintainance schedule. I look forward to doing business with Cable again in the future.
How can a dealership that charges $75 for an oil change screw that up?!? I don't know, but Cable VW manages to pull that off! Took my jetta TDI in for it's first oil change a week ago and I noticed it was only half way on the dip stick. I never had problem with my car at all and ony 6k miles on it! On my way back from Tulsa, my oil light comes on. When I get to stop, I check and it's bone dry! How in the h*!! can a dealership be so brain dead as to NOT even be able to do an oil change right! Never going back to them!
I have grown up and read alot of the reveiews. and it seems that the people at cable VW are not what other people say. As long as you are upfront and honest with them they are perfect! They deliver on their promise and go over the moon to try and help you out. I purchased my vehicle from them and had a wonderful experience. I continue to get my vehicle worked on there and would not go anywhere else. Don't believe the whiners!
Do not expect prompt service from this dealer. Service as simple as an oil change can be an all day ordeal. If you are having issues with your car, expect it to take a minimum of 2 to 3 days to get an appointment, then make sure you arrange alternate transportation (for several days), as it will most likely take longer than expected to get your vehicle back. Absolutely the worse dealership, that I've ever dealt with.
My husband dropped his car off on Friday evening to get a diagnostic run on it on Saturday. When he dropped it off the service representative treated him like he was ignorant when he was just trying to make sure he wasn't getting a service he had already gotten earlier that day (at Hibdon's he got a diagnostic done but they told him to take it to a dealer for a more in-depth one). The man told my husband he would get a phone call the next day to update him on the service but that it might be Monday before it got completed. He never got a phone call Saturday, and since he was at school all day, asked me to call to get an update on the car. When I called (at 1:55PM) I did not know that the receptionist answers the phone for both Kia & VW and did not ask me which service dept I needed to speak with, she just transferred me to VW. The lady there was rude and told me she had several customers with the same name as my husbands and she needed to know what kind of car. I told her I didn't know (all I knew was it is a Kia). And she told me she couldn't tell me since I didn't know what kind of car. So I said, "well can you look it up by phone number?" and she said yes in a very rude and condescending tone. She then proceeded to be rude telling me she was in VW and hung up on me - transferring me to some guy's voicemail. So I hung up and tried the original # again, but this time was specific and asked for the Kia Service Dept. She then informed me that (it is now 1:59PM) they leave at 2PM and no one would be back there. I told her I was supposed to get a call and did not receive one and asked firmly to speak to a manager. To make the rest of this review short... basically everyone I talked to were rude and condescending. I did finally get a manager to call me back and got the information I was needing. I am a business owner myself in the service industry, who knows how true customer service should be, and this service I got was nothing even close. Most of my dealings with car dealers have not pleasant and this was no exception. It's really sad how bad the service is in the car industry. Another disappointment.
WE were told that Cable Kia would not cash our down payment check until we had the money from the insurance company for out totalled car. They lied. They cashed the check, and we do not yet have the settlement money. like most people, having a 2600 dollar check run unexpectedly through their account, has put us in a bad situation. Do not just get their word, get it in writing!!!!!
If you live out of town and need to get your car serviced you are screwed. They have a waiting list 4 weeks in advance so if you have car trouble and need help pronto forget it. She told me I would have to leave my car and they would get to it when they could. Then she said she could give me the number to Enterprise to rent (my expense) while mine was waiting to get fixed and it would be several days. Nevermind that it is still under warranty and in 3 months it has been in the shop 3 times. I fould out that this lemon was previously in a fender bender (which they said no accidents occured with this car) The headlight is coming unglued and there is paint showing up on the wheelwells where it had been repaired. If you have a lot of free time, live in the city and have a spare car then you may be OK but have the car checked out by someone besides them to make sure it is OK before you buy. Please think twice if buying a used car from these people.
