Recently my wife went to this center for a breast exam. She told me she was very satisfied with the facility and the doctors but she does have one very significant problem.
When she arrived to fill out the paper work she wrote down her insuranc information and then provided her insurance card to the receptionist. Nothing was said by the facilty that they where not part of the United Health Care network. To our suprise we now have a $790 medical bill we need to pay out of pocket to this facility.
Most medical facilities will ask you what insurance coverage you have and then will tell you if they are a part of that network or not. If not you have the choice to refuse service and go some where else.
At this facility they tell you they will bill your insurance company knowing full well at the time that they are not in your network and you end up stuck with the whole bill. BE CAREFUL.
