The Bass Pro Shop Store in OKC, the employee's are great, very polite, and very Helpful, great store all around!!!

Bass Pro is obviously the biggest place to get outdoor supplies in central Oklahoma, so it is by far the easiest store to get in your car and visit. As such, I have spent an insane amount of money there over the past few years. This past year I've decided to stop as much as possible. I'm tired of them rarely having what I'm looking for (despite their size) and when they do it can usually be found cheaper elsewhere.



So here's how they can improve in my opinion. If you say you are a licensed dealer for a firearm manufacturer, be one. Don't get angry at me for asking why you can't order the gun. Then when you tell me that you will e-mail me if one comes available....do it. I've been waiting for 2 years for that e-mail. And I'm shopping elsewhere in the meantime.



Don't have a reloading supply aisle that's only stocked half the time. Seriously, every other time I've been in your store, that aisle is devoid of any real reloading supplies.



I'm sure some of your employees actually know what they are talking about. Rarely have I met them. Don't try to talk me into a gun, let me tell you what I'm looking for and then sell me that. I actually overheard a BPS employee telling a potential customer that .45 ACP was only for target shooting, 40 S&W was for conceal/carry, and 9mm was for plinking. For some reason, this employee did not care to elaborate, say it was his opinion, or make any disclaimer about those not always being the case. So please don't let uninformed people work the gun counter.



Thanks. I don't think BPS is a bad place, I just try my best to buy elsewhere, because I can often times get more for less if I just give up the BPS atmosphere, which I don't need.

Title say's it all. I mean Santa goes there in his magical fishing boat to hang with the little childrenz. SANTA! How can you not love that! So you got a wonderous stock of all sorts of awesome things to play with (check), Semi hot staff to google at when your picking items (check) and SANTA! (BIG OL CHECK) So yes'er I would say if you shop ANYWHERE else, your a communist.

Purchased a knife at Christmas, got home and noticed they charged me more than what was shown. Called them and they said bring it back and they would refund the over charge. I ask them if they could go in and make sure it didn't do the same to other customers and they didn't really seem to care.

WILL NOT REPLACE AND THEY DON'T CARE!!!!!!!!!!!!



Even if you have a receipt - they have no system in place to scan it and check on your gift card balance and they really are not apologetic about it.



In this world where so many of us purchase gift cards - you need to know - DON'T BUY HERE!
