They took money for deposit and also charged a "first time renters fee" (illegal), cashed the cashiers check and held our money in an out of state bank (also illegal), never had a unit for us to move into, when we asked for our money back after 3+ weeks of waiting they refused and we had to sue them to get it back - which we did. Every dime cause they never should have kept it or wasted the courts time trying to pry it from their thieving hands. They also lied about who their corporate company was (Desert Crest in corvina, Ca) and refused to give that info as we were attempting to garnish their banks for noncompliance to a court order for our judgement. The company is horrible and management is rude and yelled at us and threatened us when we simply asked for information we were legally entitled to. It took ya weeks to recover our judgement and gain the ability to forget these horrible people. I suggest you look elsewhere for an apt. even their Facebook has tons of photos and posts of drugs and drug use by tenants there and it's just not a safe environment.
