About Search Results

YP - The Real Yellow PagesSM - helps you find the right local businesses to meet your specific needs. Search results are sorted by a combination of factors to give you a set of choices in response to your search criteria. These factors are similar to those you might use to determine which business to select from a local Yellow Pages directory, including proximity to where you are searching, expertise in the specific services or products you need, and comprehensive business information to help evaluate a business's suitability for you. “Preferred” listings, or those with featured website buttons, indicate YP advertisers who directly provide information about their businesses to help consumers make more informed buying decisions. YP advertisers receive higher placement in the default ordering of search results and may appear in sponsored listings on the top, side, or bottom of the search results page.

I will never go here again!!! ...

I will never go here again!!! My boyfriend took my two children ( a boy age 11 and girl age 5) to this business to get a haircut. He told them he wanted their hair trimmed up. When he got home I immediately left and took the kids back to get a refund. My daughters hair was slanted and the bottom was very choppy looking. My sons was even worse. During the summer we had let him grow it wild, it was below his ears and into his eyes. Imagine my surprise when I saw him and not only was his hair still covering his ears but he now has choppy, uneven bangs!!! It also looked as though she hadn't even touched the back to cut it. When I asked for a refund the lady that had cut their hair came over and began saying that I paid with credit card and it couldn't be refunded and that the manager was not there. I told her that yes it could be refunded and that she needs to call her manager. Then she grabbed my daughter by the shoulders without saying anything to her and forcefully turned her around and then grabbed her head and turned it as well. She said "well if she holds her head like this it is ok." I said no it really isn't and what about my sons hair. She got 3 inches from my face and glared at me for a full minute. She said the man who brought them said to trim it. I told her that means to at least cut it above the ears. Again I asked her to phone her manager. She goes around the wall and has me follow. She speaks Chinese to a woman who then claims to be the manager. ( Remember how she said her manager wasn't there?!) She says the woman has cut hair for 15 years and has never had a complaint, the woman who did the haircut starts getting her scissors out and I told her not to touch my child. This goes back and forth and needless to say I was told I would not get a refund. I was told to come back tomorrow and someone else will cut their hair. I will be going back tomorrow but without the kids and to make sure I get my money back. Stay far away from here!!!! Update: Today (7/30/2013) I went back up to the salon and my money was refunded! I would like to say that I don't want to mislead anyone and that the HAIR SALON IS A SEPERATE BUSINESS FROM THE NAIL SALON. I was previously not aware of this fact. I have had my nails done here in the past and enjoyed the way the staff treated me as well as the wonderful job they did on my nails. I even treated my best friend to a mani/pedi for her birthday and she too was very pleased with the results. I don't want my comment to reflect in any way on the hard working ladies at the nail salon. I also want to say thank you to their manager for making things right although it was not her responsibility to do so. I would recommend this salon at any time if you are looking to get your nails done. On the basis of how I was treated upon my return today I am changing my review from a one star to a four star.

The Best in town

I have been a customer of this salon for years. When I lived in Tahlequah, I made the 3 1/2 hour drive for cuts and color. The products are top quality and so is the personnel. I have gone to Carol but the past 10 years have gone exclusivly to Amy. Both my daughters and my sister go to Amy on my recommendation and have become regular customers as well. I have never recommended Amy to anyone who has not been completely happy with her work. Over the years I have been in a position to observe Amy and Carol with other customers as well and have never seen an unhappy customer or heard other any complaints. I was in the salon when the girl came in complaining about her hair cut that was previously on this site. She stormed in demanding a refund, completely ignoring the fact that another customer was having a shampoo. I told Amy to deal with her and I would wait. Amy was polite and patient and told her she would be happy to fix whatever was bothering her. The girl refused to even sit down and let Amy look at her hair. Instead, she went storming around to other customers asking what they thought of her cut. The other three people told her they didn't see a problem, so she asked me what I thought. By then, she was crying like a five year old. The other people were polite, but I lost my cool and told her she was acting like a child (which she was) and told her she should go home and grow up. As far as I could see, she was a spoiled little drama queen with an exagerrated sense of entiltlement.

I am disappointed with the r...

I am disappointed with the results I get at this salon and will be going to another place. When I read all the information that they posted on their webpage, I was led to believe it would be a really top-notch place to get my hair styled, colored, etc. But after getting some blotched jobs done on my hair, I won't be going back. And, I was charged full price for NOT getting what I ask for. I should have complained more but didn't want to make a scene. But it's just so frustrating to ask for a hair service at a place that is supposed to be so good and end up getting something that any ameteur could do! Another thing,... not all of her staff are experienced stylists. The last one I had, (I found out after she had already started on my hair) wasn't even licensed yet. It was obvious that she didn't get alot of experience in beauty school either. I took her a total of 6-7 hours to do a hair service that should have taken no more than 2-3 hrs. ...Anyway, I ended up having to find another salon to fixed what she did & didn't do to my hair. Actually, I felt sorry for her tho, she was nervous and tried her best, ...but was not very experienced. Debi didn't offer to take over and she knew this girl was struggleing. I hate to post negative comments but others should think about it before they go there with good expectations. ...I'm curious to see if this review will be posted to her profile review page???
