Very professional & great stylist

I brought my daughter to this salon as a walk-in. She was getting her natural hair braided. The stylist kept leaving her to do her own thing. There was a period of 45mins where my daughter just sat in the chair in the middle of her hair getting braided so the stylist can tend to a another customers wig on a manican (the customer had just walked in as well) Another stylist asked her when was she going to get back to my daughters hair and her onlt response was that she was almost done. Naturally it pissed me off, my daughter fell asleep in the chair almost breaking her neck. This stylist was very unprofessional..

I am new to the area and saw this salon while driving by on my way to the store. Ive been here 3 times. The 2nd time I swore I would not be back because each time they were late and didn't do a good job styling my hair. I went the 3rd time out of sheer desperation for a relaxer. The same beautician (the owner's sister...can't remember her name) was an hour late. I am good with 15-20 minutes, but an hour late when I am the first appt of the day is unacceptable. A woman with a later appt walked in and she was finished before me. Again, unacceptable. She did not give a good relaxer (wasn't on long enough) and the style was just ok. I left $80 later and swore never to go back. That was 6 months ago and I have NOT and WILL not go back. I should not have to pay for wasting my time.

I have actually been a client of this shop since it opened. I always receive excellent service and the stylist and staff are always friendly. I have yet to have had a bad experience.About 10 to 12 members of my family also go to this salon and we are all professional women and would require professional services to accomodate our lifestyle which we do receive there. I always get good conversation and always leave pleased not to mention the manager has been doing my hair for 20 years and it's very healthy no burns, no dirty towels, gossip or drama. You feel like family inside and leave looking great and feeling confident. DEFINITLY RECOMMEND IT............

The service was terrible! The shampoo tech did not wash out my perm correctly. I had to receive treatment from my dermatologist due to a burnt scalped! One of the beauticians had a odor coming from her armpits. She kept continously wiping under her arms with a towel for your hair and then proceeded to put it around my neck! I thought I would have fainted from the stench. I was so irritated by the beautician in the back who kept calling her boyfriend "Baby"! Every other word was "baby". They don't have to worry about me coming back no more! If I want to smell armpits all day I would go into a men's locker room. Then on top of that they have illegal boot leg tapes that they parade on the tv in front of the shop. I believe they buy them from this toothless man next door. I thought I was in the hood! I was scared for my life! Then one of the shampoo tech was ranting about how she was going to get someone because they stole her phone. I was ready to leave, hair wet and all. So please don't go to praise. If you want to get rob, yelled at, or hurt then go right ahead.

The appearance of the shop for one is a disgrace. They used old magazines pictures for shades to block the sun. The shop look like a retro of sandford and son. The towels are rags. They wipe the floor with the rag and then stick it upon your head. There was a particular beautician who seemed to be under the influence of drugs. Then there was a beautician towards the back who dresses unprofessionally as well. Additionally, the manager burned my hair!!! She had the audacity to try and cut it as if I would not notice it! So would I reccommend you to go to this swap meet they call a shop? For heavens sake no!!! And with all the profanity and gossips, and baby drama that goes in there they need to call it Hell's Kitchen! How are you going to play gospel music one second and then rap the next. If you want to keep your hair go somewhere else but, please I mean please don't go there.
