Save your money!

We went to this place because we had a gift card to use. It was really not good. It took at least 10 minutes to seat us when there were only about 4 tables in the restaurant sat at 6 on a friday evening. Took another 5 minutes to get a high chair for my daughter, seems they couldn't make up their mind about who was going to do it. The food was not good at all. The rice was so dry and bland, the queso dip was lumpy, t... view more

Orlando's Best Mexican Food By Far!

We went to San Jose's the day it opened and have continued to go ever since! I am from Texas and as many know, has the best Mexican food. San Jose's is outstanding in both food and service! The staff remember us every time we come in and come by our table to ask how we are! A lot of restaurants in Orlando could learn from them!!! It is the best Mexican food in all of Orlando!

Real Mexican and Excellent Service

Dining in this restaurant was worth the drive from Universal Studios. We were 5 minutes late from closing but they opened the door for us and we had the best burritos, enchiladas, carne asada, chimichanga and desert and the most polite people serving and talking to us. The best in Orlando! Most of all I did not suffer from heartburn after eating their food. Sue

Finally, a good mexican restaurant

It is hard to find good mexican food in Florida. But this is actually pretty good. The service is great, the food is very good, the prices are reasonable. The drinks were a little weak but other than that, I would say this is a good choice.

Our Favorite!

We have been visiting San Jose's for several years now, and it is by far the best mexican food in the area. The only problem we have had is that they get very busy, and the space is limited. But the food has always been top notch.

THE BEST MEXICAN FOOD EVER

WE LOVE THIS PLACE!. We go almost every Sunday after church for the Buffet... the food is oh so good. The people more so. We have been eating here for years and have NEVER been dissapointed by anything we have eaten. The menu is exensive, the buffet plentiful. The place is clean and fresh. Our only complaint would be the size, it is a small place and fills up fast during peak eating times, the wait can be 30 minute... view more

Excellent Mexican Food and Service

Upon reading the reviews of Citysearch, we decided to visit another Mexican restaurant besides this one. We stopped at a plaza and had a conversation with a couple who recommended San Jose. We then decided to try it out, and we are glad we did. The restaurant is modestly located in a shopping plaza with the likes of Red Lobster, and other major chained restaurants. I went with two friends and 5 children. The sta... view more

Great Food Anytime-Excellent Service

My wife and I come from Texas and are used to authentic Mexican food and San Jose's is just that. Mexican food by far is not Spicy/hot with chile burning your mouth. It is tasty and the spices and chile can be added to your taste. I hear lots of people that are turned off of Mexican food because it's too spicy, too much red chile. The real Mexican food is found at San Jose's at a reasonable price and plenty of it. Th... view more
