        one day i was driving around oceanside when my stomach made a rumbling sound. i passed many restaurants and stops, but none seemed to hook me in. i stop at a gas station (CHEVRON) to grab a snack and i noticed across the street there was a "QuikWok". it sounded good, so i went in and ordered a couple entrees. man, the portions are huge. and the taste was delicious. Panda Express got to step up its game with their 30 minute old mandarin chicken. QuikWok serves everything fresh. this is one of my tops places in Oceanside to visit.

        Bland

        Bland is the name for this place. I have eaten here several times hoping to find a dish that has some flavor to it. Even the 'hot and sour' soup is neither hot nor sour. Even after I ask them to reheat the soup in the microwave because they serve it luke-warm, it is none the less bland. They need to discover the flair of Chinese spices!
