The menu was original, not your standard beach fare. Check out the menu on line to get an idea of what your in for. I had tuna tempura, it was the best thing I ate in weeks. My girlfriend had the chicken cheasapeake, she is not as adventurous as I am, the crab imperial was excellent. We ordered a steamed clamp appetizer, they were served in a white wine and herb broth that i would drink by the glass. The bar seemed busy and the drink menu looked good.

We got seated quickly only to sit for a half hour before we got drink order placed, and an hour to place food order. We were there for an hour 1/2 before we got our food. They had delivered it to the wrong table at first. Instead of giving us new food they just brought over the food from the other table. They were not busy either. Server was nice but it was a slow place. Even paying took forever. We gave our cards and waited another ten to sign the slip.
This place is definitely unpretentious. Picture a Cracker Barrel with a "dive" atmosphere. That said, the service is friendly and fast. You also have to love a place where pancakes are considered a "side". Although the classics are delicious the blueberry and sweet potato cakes are really fantastic especially with an omelet.
