        This is what a consignment shop should be! The furniture deals are incredible. I bought a Hinkle-Harris four-poster bed for 1/28th its retail cost. Also, lots of beautiful decor items. It's almost a weekly destination for my better-other an me.

        I LOVE the Carriage Trade. They have such unique furniture and accessories that you couldn't find in a new furniture store. I bought a living room set there and many other smaller things. And if you get tired of it or feel like redecorating, just give them a call and they'll come pick it up and you can sell it and get half of your money back! I really appreciate the fact that their staff does not stalk you throughout the entire store, they are not personal shoppers. I know where they are if I need them and they are extremely helpful and friendly.

        Highlight of our visit to Ocala

        My sister and I visit Ocala several time a year and the "The Carriage Trade Consignment" shoppe is always the highlight of our trip. Rarely do we leave empty handed. The staff is courteous, friendly and always available to lend a helping hand.

        The staff is not really available to the browsing shopper. Not enough unique, quirky stuff for my taste. Every now and then I will stumble on something for me. I love the jewelry/clothing section. Very friendly people working back there.
