Southeastern Stone & Tile

I was excited to finally have a granite countertop, Rich & his father turned it into a nightmare. The father came & did the install, left globs of glue all over my new cabinets. they also promised that the sealer they used on the edges would dry clear & it did not. They cut the stone too short for the pass thru and tried to use glue to hide it. I had a plumber and a general contractor come over & both said that they would not have accepted the work that was done, The stone overhangs my sink , the seams were very rough & did not all match up. When I called to complain, I was told I was crazy. They finally did come back & smooth the seams, but refused to do any thing more. When I was talking to someone about this, they knew immediately which company did the install as they had a poor experience also. There are more errors that were made on their part, but the one that was especially upsetting was the fact that I was never told that I could reserve my stone upfront & that the owner does not care if the colors match.

The only reason this place is still in business is their inventory. With the exception of the girls in the office ( who look like they are afraid of the Rich), I was treated very poorly and was talked to in a condescending way. They act like they are doing YOU a favor. And a lead time of 8 weeks???? Why is this place in business??

The price was right, but the in-store assistance from Rich, and the very bad attitude from his father, Mike, make their place one I will avoid at all cost in the future. The job was very well done, but Mike's attitude when installing was rude.
