Family Care Specialists-Ocala II

Was not impressed with this place. The wait time wasn't bad for a Monday. The doctor was so so, but the staff seems slow and very incompetent. I had to have a blood test done and normally a doctors office has a special chair for taking blood, but the nurse just had me put my arm across her office desk which I didn't like that at all, that's just not sterile. I think I will look elsewhere, this place just rubbed me the wrong way.

I have had the opportunity of seeing Dr. Fusco several times over the years. I have had multiple health issues that other doctors in the surrounding counties that could not help or find the solutions to my aliments other than a guess that was incorrect. On all the occasions he took his time in checking me over and suggesting a solution or future tests and it was revealed it in a TIMELY manner. to be redundant every time his diagnosis and suspicions were correct when others failed. In the waiting rooms the patients talk highly of this personable Family Doctor that has a rare and caring demeanor reminding me of the doctors of yesterday.

Went in for a physical and they didn't do much of anything but look in my ears and down my throat and did a simple blood test. Dr. didn't seem to give a damn about what I was telling him. Never heard anything from them about my blood test results so I had to call them. Takes usually 5 tries or more until someone actually answers the phone. I asked for my results and they kept transferring me to another nurse who was never at their desk so I had to keep leaving messages. Told them to call me and leave the results on my voice mail, but they just kept saying "give us a call back" and that went on for 3 days. Had to call them again and actually got transferred to the nurse that I needed and they were actually there this time. Asked for my results and after being on hold for about 5 minutes she said she couldn't find my charts and would call me right back. Sat by phone for an hour and decided to call them again and demand to speak to the nurse again and was transferred yet again to the answering machine so I jumped into my car and made a bee line to the office and walked in and demanded the results of my blood tests this instant! After that something magical must of happened because the nurse called me in and gave me my results. The tests said everything was fine. I guess leaving me a message saying "your tests came back fine" must have been to hard for them to do. Like my title says, I wouldn't even bring my dog here. Hope this helps you.
