My mothers 90th celebration was very special, and we wanted it to be just right !! I received so many compliments on this cake, and Inquiries as to where we had it made, we were very pleased. Gorgeous, AND, Delicious !! Ashleys also did my son and daughter-in-law's wedding cake, which was also a beautiful and delicious cake. I bake a lot myself, and am very picky, I highly recommend this bakery.

I love Ashley's! Over the years, I've tried almost every one of their baked-goods and I've yet to find something that is not absolutely amazing. The owners are wonderful people and true pillars in the Dayton community. Thank you for all you do!

Ordered 1/2 sheet graduation cake. $64. Cake was 11/4 inch tall with lots of frosting. Cake tasted like a box cake and buttercream frosting tasted like cigarette smoke. No one at the party liked it. Threw 7/8s of it in the trash. Disappointing and a waste of money.

Do not go here they lose your cake topper you request to put on and do not respond to emails or phone calls...Do not go here!!!

I'm out in California and was suprising my daughter who lives in Dayton, with a baby shower cake. I did all my business via email, I am very pleased to say their customer service and responses was excellent. My daughter recently moved out there so I had no idea who I should use, so I adverted to online comments. All parties involved were very satisfied...my daughter and son-in-law informed me that the cake was superb.

When entering ashley's pastries you are reminded of your neighborhood bakery we all grew up with before the "big box" sores came to be.Friendly, courteous staff to help you with your selection... with most goods looking too good to eat. The cinnamon bread is the best i have ever had, toasted in the morning. the coffee is excellent with great "to go" cups that really don't spill. The selection of christmas bakery items is extraordinary from cookies to elegant desserts. definitely worth a stop....

Ashley's cookies, pies, puff pastries and cakes are all exceptionally good. Their danish rolls and coffee cakes are second to none. Living in Cincinnati (50 minutes from Ashley's), we have many fine bakeries in our town. For my family and friends though, the drive to Ashley's is worth every mile! Only to be exceeded by the owner's mission to make sure that every customer walks out of their bakery happy and satisfied!

I just love Ashley's! Everything they make is absolutely delicious. Every time I walk in the smell of freshly baked goods is overwhelming! Their employees are always there to greet you with a smile and help in any way they can! I really like the fact that when I walk in the owner herself is behind the counter with a smile on her face ready to help me! If you are looking for that perfect cake for a birthday, holiday, or any other celebration, Ashley's is the place to go. They cater to any type of party you are having. Not only do their cakes look amazing they are also very delicious and reasonably priced. Every time I walk in I am greeted with a smiling face that is ready to help me. The owners Greg and Theresa Hammons have worked so hard for the past 25 years to make the bakery what it is today! So, if you are looking for a cake or even a quick treat I would definitely suggest Ashley's!!

Ashley's Pastry Shop not only provides delicious baked goods (Sand Tarts are exceptionally unique and delicious!), but also delivers with a smile and genuine congeniality. The owner, Theresa Hammons, has gone out of her way to make sure that our special-order cakes are made perfect to our liking and cater exactly to our needs. She has always made us comfortable in her shop, and when we have a particulary picky request, we know where to go and know that Theresa will happily make sure that our needs are met (without making us feel burdensome or uncomfortable). I just adore Ashley's. From the morning pastries to their delcious cakes there is something special about this bakery shop. They also have wonderful cookies which my little ones enjoy everytime we go there. Another aspect that puts Ashley's above others is the feeling you get when you go into the store. The employees are very friendly and always meet you with a smile on your face, and the owners put the shop over the top. Being able to see how caring and the relationships they have with their customers is something that is not at everything bakery shop.

Ashley's Pastries showed true generosity by donating a huge assortment of cookies and other pastries to the Moeller Golf team throughout the year. The cookies and other pastries were delicious and filling. And to copy from the Pringle's slogan once you ate one, you couldn't stop. Always ready to help and serve both Theresa and Greg Hammons, bring big happiness through a little gesture. And while the team couldn't bring home the state title, it was always nice to have those wonderful Ashley's Pastries waiting for us after each round. The cookies were wonderful but the sand tarts and tiramasu are definitely among my personal favorite. For anyone ever visiting Ashley's you will be greeted by a smiling owner and treated to some of the best desserts you could imagine. We at Moeller are truly blessed to have people like Greg and Theresa Hammons who provide such wonderful service and treats. I would recommend Ashley's over any bakery I've been to hands down, not just for the wonderful treats but for the wonderful service and attention to detail also provided to each and every customer. Ashley's Pastries is "Simply the Best."

I am impressed. Why? Because when I went in the owner was there behind the counter ready and happy to wait on me with a smile on her face. And the place smelled great! Freshly baked goodies and great customer service. All the things that make shopping in locally owned businesses a treat. I loved my experience and I want everyone to know what a treasure we hafe right here in Dayton!

Last week our company, McGohan Brabender, received a huge box of pastries, not from an order we had placed but as a thank you from Ashley's Pastries recognizing McGohan Brabender as making a difference in the Miami Valley business community. Theresa Hammons, owner of Ashley's Pastries, included a hand written note which I shared with the entire company. Her letter made quite an impression! It was one of those "feel good" moments that leaves you with an overwhelming sense of pride in where you work and live. THE PASTRIES WERE DELICIOUS! The aroma alone was satisfying! McGohan Brabender thanks Ashley's Pastries for their generosity and thoughtfulness, not only to our company but towards the entire Miami Valley community.

As the employee of Square One Salon in Downtown Dayton, I understand how important it is for small businesses to support each other. Usually this requires little more than referring your own customers to sample the goods of the businesses around you. Ashley's took that supportive concept not one step, but MILES further this morning when they delivered a magnificent (and enormous) assortment of beautiful pastries to our door. Accompanying the box was a hand written, eloquent note thanking us for supporting the downtown area. It is businesses like Ashley's that make a city great!

We framed the note and set out a plate to share with our guests. To our delight, Ashley's pastries were delicious (my croissant took me back to the pâtisserie I frequented in Paris) and it was fun to see the faces of our customers light up as we told them Ashley's had donated the gift. Some of our employees were already devout Ashley's followers. I was delighted myself to have found my new favorite bakery. If you are looking for a delicious pastry served to you by a generous and warm staff, Ashley's is the perfect place!
