West Suburban Hospital Medical Center

I guess you can't post a review without selecting a star rating otherwise I wouldn't have given this place any stars. This is by far the absolute worst hospital I've been to in YEARS! They actually have the county hospital BEAT! I understand it's a hospital and the ER can be unpredictable but not 8+ hours unpredictable. You have to constantly ask staff members if they've forgotten about you and the late shift receptionist's customer service was horrible with eye rolling and lip smacking which all very unnecessary given my calm demeanor AFTER I had already been waiting for 5+ hours. At one point a staff member advised me to ask for a nurse supervisor to complain. A simple cold for a 5 year old turned into 9 hours of my left spent in a smelly waiting area for 6 hours only to finally get taken to a bed to wait another 2 and a half hours in a freezing cold room while staff members laugh and talk like they aren't sick people waiting. This use to be a great hospital YEARS ago! Now I wouldn't even bring my pet rock to this place. I'll never come back
