The pink eye

My server has pink eye. Looks contagious. And even worse I'm thirsty. Where is my beer poop eye?

Not fun

I've been to the Rochester MI location (not found on Citysearch), where prices are unusually high and the atmosphere tends to be painfully noisy, and it's sometime even difficult to move around. Employees there, though, are very nice. My father met the proprietor of the original Gus O'Conno's in Ireland, who knew nothing of the MI knockoff, so I must conclude that the MI variant actually plagiarized the name. Very po... view more

Great place for a sports party

I am at Gus O'Connor's right now, watching U of M football with 40 other alumni, and we're enjoying every minute of it. There is absolutely no smoke problem, the food & service are fabulous, and we can clearly see and hear the game on several large screen televisions. The buffalo wings are so good that our president had two orders. I had the nachos, and they were delicious, especially the salsa, which is made fres... view more

Too much smoke

I went here to try the famous fish and chips. It just reeked for cigarette smoke; even in the non-smoking section by the door. I won't be back.

Great Atmosphere for Irish Bar

It is dark like every other Irish bar you go to but it is very nice inside with lots of wood and authentic irish dishes on the menu. The bartender upstairs was even from Ireland when I went last time.

Best Irish Pub

This is the best real Irish pub that I have ever visited. The pub was built in Ireland and shipped to the states where it was installed by Irish craftsmen. They even have Irish employees. The food is fantastic and a great value, the Guinness stew is a must try. The imported beer selection is second to none and they have a huge selection of Irish and Scotish whiskey. The crowd is lively and lovely to look at. Th... view more
