Xtra Room Mini Storage

I would like to give Xtra Room a good review, but is pretty impossible. While moving from Sonoma Country to Marin, I needed to store my furniture and belongings at a Storage unit in Novato that was recommended by a co-worker. Thank goodness I found an apartment in 2 1/2 months. I noticed some dampness in the front and notified the Attendant she said sometimes there was condensation.

When the movers came to move me out we saw that the large cabinet near the Front had boxes that were very wet..condensation on the insides all of the glass, it was we on top and the wood discolored. Also the bottom was very warped and discolored. Many pieces of furniture in the back were wet also with water running off of them, shelves were warped boxes wet. the movers saw a couple of holes in the roof. I went and got the Attendant, she declined going into the unit, she said that they had just done work on the unit and that I should have covered everything with a tarp. (why rent a storage unit if you had to tarp it....could have been in the back yard. Then she said some units leak and some don't. why pay to have your belongings ruined. The movers had moved my things int the unit and 2 1/2 months later found it damaged. To date I have called the office 5 times..I am assured that Rocco will call me back.....He has not
