misdiagnosis on a biopsy at Norwood Radiology



I was told that I had flat epithelial atypia, which is a cancer cell that needs to be surgical removed from the chest. I was told to go to a local surgeon. I went to Dana Farber and they requested all my records from Norwood radiology and they found the cell to be benign it was a very small cell that did not even need the titanium chip that was implanted during the chest biopsy at Norwood radiology.. I have been going to Norwood for my mammogram for 16 years and have trusted all there decision. If I had gone to a local surgeon my biopsy would have never got a second opinion and most likely would have had unnecessary surgery. This is a concern and a big error. I lost my trust in Norwood radiology. My concern only is to anyone facing this in there life and when it comes to your health get a second opinion. I will never go back to Norwood Radiology..
