Valley View Manor Nursing & Rehab Center

I have been coming to this facility for a few years now. They have changed in management and since the place is 100% better. The residents seem to be very happy and so are the staff. This place has come a long way and it seems to me its getting better. I just want to say Thank you to all the staff at valley view working so hard to take care and love our family....

I have a family member who has been at this facility for 2 years and a year ago I would have agreed with the negative comments but in just the last 6 months the care and love my mother has received has been amazing and atleast 90% better. Not only does the staff care and understand and deal with my mothers behaviors they also always have a smile and something nice to say even when it's been a hard day. A year ago I would have never walked in and seen the administrator serving meals and having meaningful conversation with my mother or others around her. The change in management I feel has been a wonderful thing. It's nice to know when I have a concern or problem I know i will not be brushed off or given a unconcerned answer instead I get compassion and all of my concerns for my mother have been handled or atleast looked into.

I haved worked here for 5 years. The facilitiy has come a long way since I first started. Since new management took over the facility has excelled tremendously. I have gone to my supervisors with a concern and found that by the time I returned from my break, the issue was handled. Residents are stimulated throughout the day with therapy, numerous activities, and just the one on one time with staffing. I feel the reviews that are put on this site may be given falsely because of old employee work ethics. When people are fired for good reasons they get upset and tend to take it out on the source. #TeamValleyView

This facility needs to be shut down asap!! there is a lot of cover up scams going on..by the administration and upper employees everyone pretends nothing is happening there when it is!! lack of care both wound and medicine plus cases of abuse and neglect happening but nothing gets done...also they have banned family from seeing family now!!! when will it end?
This place is so horrible!!! the food is nasty the care is so poor!!
the staff threatens each other people get fired for trying to protect the residents!!!!
someone please help...............

This is not a good nursing home its a one star rating its one of the worst nursing homes in norwich I should know I have been going to this facility for almost 10 years. first 9 years were the best not now a new owner bought the facility they have cut the staff down to your loved one will recieve not good quality care
