John Benedict from Sherburne began the Benedict Corporation in 1905. Today, the company is based in Norwich, N.Y., and is owned and operated by Noel deCordova III. It is a GMC Truck, Pontiac, Cadillac and Subaru dealer offering new and used vehicles as well as service, parts, collision repair and detail service. The 26,000 square foot dealership facility encompasses a 12-bay service and repair area supported by a body shop, six bay detail center and a complete parts department. Benedict s show room holds up to six new cars and trucks for display, a customer lounge area and sales office. A separate building houses its used car office and display lot.
