Don't come to GET INKED to get a tattoo. I had to wait 6 months and pay 500. During my session the guy said he was "too tired" to finish. So I had to call consistently for a month until they finally made an appointment to finish it but only when they charged me an extra $100 on top of what I paid already. #Crooks

I had my first tattoo done today by Javier at get ink and I couldn't have been more pleased by the phenomenal job Javier did. I drove about an hour or so away from where I live and it was well worth the drive. I highly recomend get ink for anyone looking for a tattoo

I'll caveat the following review with the following - at 54 years of age I had never once in my life considered a tattoo. To any dog lovers out there, I don't have to tell you how deep an profound the bond with your dog can be. This said, as my Bulldog Harley ages I had become more and more concerned about that inevitable day when he'll be gone.



One morning I woke up and it was, as dramatic as this sounds - like an Epiphany. I realized that of course Harley will live in my heart as long as I live but he can also be on my skin, a part of me in a way no other art form could provide.



In Advertising for over thirty years research is a huge part of what I do, it's in my blood. So the search for right artist began. I would have gone anywhere from NYC to LA or anyplace in between. Nog because I could have afforded it, times are tough. But because it was that important - important to have the essence of who this amazing creature disguised in a dog suit is.



And so it began after two months I had narrowed the list down to half a dozen or so. On a Net search I found Get Ink Tattoo and was dazzled by the quality of work in the portfolios of each artist.



I met with and booked a five hour session with Javier Eastman - the end result? above and beyond my expectations. What struck me the most about this place is that albeit the styles vary they all share a common thread and that is that they're true artists above anything else. Before the money, before anything really, these guys live to do one thing and that's to put a vision, design or words that mean something to you into your skin.



No hard sell, no pressure and no cut corners. The word Compromise isn't in their vocabulary.



The studio is spotless, the rooms private - it's a judgment free zone and I was made to feel at home immediately. To find this hidden jewel, this small enclave of such devoted, passionate artists here in CT is nothing short of miraculous No detail was overlooked all the information you need for proper after care is given clearly as are any questions you have both prior to the Tattoo session and after.



As Tattoo becomes more mainstream and shops pop up these days on virtually every street corner. I can assure you there will be a wash out, the best and only the best will survive that wave and achieve a place of greatness. The crew at Get Ink Tattoo has nothing whatsoever to worry about.

i met javier eastman at the boston tattoo convention 2011, i was looking at a good portrait artist, when i saw his work i knew he was the one i contacted him and and immediately made the appoinment. he did my brother's portrait and i was so impressed that i travel this past weekend to norwalk ct to see him, he did my sister and mother' s portrait, his work is great, very clean. it was totally worth the trip, and of course ill be going back soon to finish my chest.. i also had the chance to meet the rest of the team alex and manny, all great people with alot of talent. GET INKED TATTOO IS THE PLACE TO GET YOUR INK..

id say: That there is no other place better then GET INK TATTOO SHOP, with a good price u will get a really Nice Tattoo and unique piece that u will never gonna see it in other body and u will find the right Artist to get it done Bc they are professionalty good and what they do they will dedicate the enough time to finish it and that piece of art in ur skiin u will never gonna regret it! and I bet u will be Back. specially if u love art.

Is a really friendly place with three of the most talented artist on the area. They can take any of our ideas and make it into a really final piece of art on your skin. Super clean, fresh and light shop with private rooms... You wont ever regret your visit!!
