My fiance' and I had been wanting to try Varona's since it opened. Tonight on our second anniversary we decided to try it out for dinner. We went in and were waited upon right away-- before our second round of bread was brought to us we were served our dinner. We had one glass of wine each, salad, dinner, and dessert--we were not disappointed!! The food was authentic and delicious, the meats were seasoned appropriately (this I know because I am of Cuban descent). Even the desserts were perfect--I had the guava pastry (a personal favorite) and my fiance had tres leches (which he really enjoyed, it was really rich--as it is intended to be). I hope Varona's continues to live up to the quality of food and service we encountered this evening. We recommend this restaurant highly, and plan on going back.
Came expecting Cupalicious but found Giddy Up Grill...Super friendly service and lots to pick from... sandwiches are hot, delicious , and made to order. my husband loved the Cuban and the potato salad, my daughter loveD her grilled ham and cheese...The Homemade mac and cheese was delicious. I had a chicken salad sandwich on a croissant and was very happy with it... it with fresh , full of fruits and nuts, well seasoned...just the way I like it. The facility was comfy and super clean. Prices were very reasonable.
My husband and I decided to try this hole in the wall out and glad we did. I started out with the fish balls which were scrumptious...just the right amount of spice, then the bacon wrapped grilled shrimp & salad...delicious!! The staff was very friendly and efficient. They even brought me a sample of curry chicken and rice that was very tasty too. Prices were very reasonable also. We eat out a lot and I'm very picky, with that said, I recommend you try them out & enjoy!
