My wife and I came in looking for an upgrade to her engagement ring. We were still in the research phase so we weren't sure if she wanted a 1 or a 1.5 carat diamond. We also wanted some more information. As soon as we stepped in, we weren't greeted, even though there was only 1 other customer and there were 2 associates. When the woman finally came up to us and we explained what we came in for, she sneered right away: 'Well, there's quit a difference between a 1 and 1.5 carat, which one do you want'. When my wife said she wasn't sure yet but that she would like to compare some sizes, and tried to explain what she was looking for the lady kept saying rude things like: 'That's not necessarily true', and 'I don't have that' without trying to help. It was just an awful conversation in where the associate constantly cut us off and came up with some kind of irrelevant knowledge about how it really was.



The end of the visit for us was right after the small conversation we had, she picks up a book and says 'Well just so you know, even a 1 carat is going to cost you at least 7 thousand', like we were some kind of lower class trash with no money. We were treated very rudely, and they seemed very unprofessional.



Even though we're in the beginning of our 20's, and looked young we were ready to drop 10k that day, all nice and saved up in our debit account. Missed opportunity Jewel Gallery! You can't judge a book by it's cover!
