I had a medical debt that was very pat due, and working with the representative at Allied Collection Services was a truly pleasant experience. The collector that handled my file was respectful and knowledgable about my specific debt. They let me make payments over time to clear the balance. I wish all of the collection agencies that I have had to deal with were as professional as Allied.

This company makes you pay the original debt and then tells you that you have a zero balance. Then they go and report to the credit bureaus. After my account was paid in full, and I got a letter from them stating that. They then report to the credit bureau a $50.00 fee saying I didn't pay the interest on the account after they told me I had a zero balance with them. And they sent me a letter saying it was already paid.
