... and not for a bad reason. When we got married we took the time to do the research, and assure that we wouldn't get stuck with disappointing, under-performing "professionals". Let's face it, we all heard the stories. We all know someone who got shafted by photographers, videographers, artists of all stripes who promised quality, punctuality, professionalism, and yet did not deliver. Maybe we were the ones who got shafted. And should the professionals we hire have to promise us these things? No. It should be a given. Sadly, we all know that this is not always the case. But Still the One did deliver. Mark is a professional. Very considerate, very conscientious. In fact his only fault that I noticed is he may have been a tad too eager to please at some points during the ceremonies. He wanted to make sure that everything he did was spot-on. But really, he didn't have to ask us more than once. He was just fine! I read one of the earlier reviews and I have to agree: he was always up, somewhere, taking a picture. He got everyone and everything, from every creative angle. And except for the few times he asked is "Is everything all right? Is there anything specific you want me to photograph?" he faded into the night. Unobtrusive is the word I'm thinking of here. Mark did not get in the way of anyone. And when we were finished, we maintained our relationship. Mark's a good guy and I wish him the best. And I don't see how anyone could go wrong with him. Still the One is still the one!!
I have worked with Josh Pelta-Heller (Koala Photographer) many times on photo shoots for my salon. He never ceases to amaze me with the quality of his work. Every image he produces is worthy of anything I need it for, from artwork on my wall to advertisements for my company. I'm consistently blown away by his creative eye and ability to capture every subject in the most beautiful way. Not only that, but he is an expert at making you feel comfortable in front of the camera, and makes the whole process feel second nature. He is friendly, funny, and easy to get along with. Josh can make you feel calm even in highly stressful situations. I would highly recommend him for any photography needs: weddings, fashion, editorial, etc. You will not be disappointed!
Hi everyone, I met mark on the Wildwood shoreline last summer during the annual Beach Blast soccer tounament. He took some beautiful shots of my daughter kicking the ball, going for the goal! A little later I ran into him again on the Boardwalk, and he was taking portraits of people and their families. We agreed to meet at sunset the next day for a series of family photos of me, my husband and our 3 children. They were nice! A few of the unique things he did is he drew our family name into the sand, surrounded by a large heart and placed the kids inside the heart. And there were quite a few nice ones of my daughter with the Morey's ferris wheel in the background. Nice job, Mark! Long may your flag fly!! Dana
