This little hole in the wall is a privately owned gem that has been handed down from father to son for many years. My mom ate here in Sept. 1968, the night before I was born. When she went into labor, people said it was the chinese food giving her indigestion. lol That could explain why this has been my favorite place to eat all my life. My family knows I really care about someone when I share MY restaurant with them. The food is high quality- not buffet quality, with excellent flavor. The servings are large enough for two people, or even better, leftovers! Deluxe meals are served in courses four courses- soup of choice, appetizer plate (egg roll, spare rib, & puffed shrimp), main course, and dessert of almond cookie & fortune cookie. Ice cream is also available for self-service. I've searched the country & never found eggrolls as good as these...made with bean sprouts as opposed to cabbage. My husband was not sure about that at first, but now wont eat eggrolls from anywhere else. The spare ribs are a sweet barbeque that pull easily off the bone. The duck is wonderful without a gamey taste. The beef is always tender. Some people dont like it, because their minds are set to the all-you- can-eat buffet type chinese food, but if you like an actually dining experience sans sneeze guard, try this place! Warning:If it says spicy, don't be like my son-in-law & request extra spicy unless you want it habanero hot as opposed to just chili pepper hot.
Best Chinese restaurant in town. Superb food and friendly atmosphere. Service is great. Don't miss out on this the next time you visit the Dallas/Ad…
I'm very picky when it comes to restaurants, so there's not many that I like, but this one is pretty good. The food was fresh and higher quality than I'm used to at a buffett, and everybody who worked there was perfect, the whole place is also very clean. It took a while to find because the GPS showed it was South of the highway, when it was actually on the North side next to IHOP. The food selection was the same as what you will get at any chinese buffett. I'm very happy with my experience everytime I go there, another big reason for that is because the young women who works at the entrance is very pretty and friendly. I actually try to go there on Friday's because I found that she has more time to talk with me, because the rest of the weekend that she's there is very busy. I'm glad I tried this place, and like I told my friends it definitly is worth a try.
This place has really good food. You might not think so when you walk into the dining room, since it's a little cramped and definitely outdated. But it IS clean, and the servers are friendly and very hard working. I love the amount of choices they offer on the buffet, and I also love the mongolian grill (you can choose from fresh meats and vegetables, and they will cook up on the spot right there for you). Go on a weeknight, and the prices are cheaper. It's also usually cheaper for me to get my food to go, since when I pay for buffet, I usually spend about $10 (on weekends, including a drink) and when I take my food to go, it's usually only about $6. They price take-out food by it's weight, and I can never seem to take any more than that, and even then, I have more than I can finish in one sitting. So I really like this place!
