Just got our second pizza from Zio's. They are very good - this from someone who normally makes his own. The first time was on opening night and we ate in. We noted the service needed some work but figured it would work it self out over time. This time I went to get it to take home. After ordering I waited for it to be made and after at least 30 minutes discovered that there were 2 pizzas sitting on top of the oven - one for me and one for another customer who was also waiting in the store. I had not left the store nor had the other customer, but no one bothered to give us our pizza, until we pointed them out. Also, I thought I would have a bowl of soup while I was waiting. It was excellent on opening night - so good I guess they ran out. I was told they wouldn't have any more until next week. Really ?? The pizza was good and I hope they can get their service issues figured out so that everyone can enjoy it, but without improvement in that area people are not going to go back a second time, Not sure our third visit will be any time soon.

Zio's Pizzeria & Restaurant (authentic Italian) just opened up Jan 21, 2014. I enjoyed the most amazing Chicken Parmesan I've ever had! I will definitely go back. They also deliver. They have pizza and lots of Italian cuisine. Very reasonably priced. Customers will be pleased! Jan 24th, 2014: Just had their sausage & pepperoni pizza with fresh whole basil ... to die for! I'm anxious to try their Chicken Marsala or the Veal Piccata. I like listening to their chefs talk to each other in Italian.
I'm from Brooklyn and love a good pizza, which they have here ... but there veal cutlet parm hero is what I order the most ... my husband loves their delicious ham and cheese call one ... I haven't found any place else around here that can match the taste of their food and the service is always friendly and quick ... LOVE THIS PLACE!!
