Daishin Steak House

Remembering the great restaurant we went to run by the previous owners, we chose Daishin to celebrate our son's birthday. Immediately we new something was different. Business was slow and gone was the professional service we had experienced before. Our meal was quite mediocre. Our salad was swimming in dressing ( which was quite good however too much of it). The soup was inedible, pure salt, no flavor. The main courses of hibachi cooked steak and shrimp were decent, however, gone was the hibachi chef flair for which we came. I felt as if I was watching the short order cook at Denny's, only with a timing problem. Half of us were done with our meals before one of the party's meal had even been begun. We received our rice at the end of our meal after all the steak had been eaten. It hurt to pay the large bill after such a disappointing experience.
