Dairy Queen (Treat)

I've had very mixed experiences at this Dairy Queen- but here is the latest.



After work I wanted a little treat, so I pull into the drive-thru and ordered a Banana Split with cherries instead of strawberries. The voice on the speaker said "I'm sorry, we don't have cherries anymore"

Fine, I 'll take just a regular Banana Split- then I asked if they have hot dogs because I didn't see them on the menu.

"Yes, we have hot dogs"- great I'll take one with everything.

I get my food and pull into a parking spot and I can tell they microwaved the hot dog because it is JUST STEAMING HOT!

I open the little cardboard container and I touch one of the pickles on the dog, EVEN THE PICKLES AND ONIONS ARE STEAMING!!!

THEY MICROWAVED THE ENTIRE HOT DOG WITH THE CONDIMENTS ON IT, INCLUDING THE PICKLES AND ONIONS!!!...NASTY!!!



The Banana Split was good, but the dog was NASTY. I have had bad experiences with "DQ's" food in the past- by now I should know better.

Always fun, been a Niles landmark since the early 1970's at least, probably longer. We stop by once a week during the season, never disappointed.
