Bit-O-Paris Motel

I called this motel to find out weekly rates (for my brother) and the man who answered the phone was a total a-hole. First, he hollered at me asking me if I called yesterday. I said "no, I'm just trying to find out how much your weekly rates are". He said (in a very hostile tone) "you come here and look at the room, then I'll tell you the price!" I asked if there was any way he could give me some idea of a price and he said NO, and hung up! What kind of business is this? Sounds really shady to me!
