        BEWARE of Family Auto and Tire Service in Newton Grove, NC (125 Autoway Dr.). List price for BRAND NEW starter from dealer (most expensive) is $194. Others sell it starting at $70. Family Auto and Tire charged $283 for a re-manufactured unit. Reasonable shop fee for install, however.

        When my alternator died on US 40 we were stranded. Keith answered the phone even though they were closed on Saturday afternoon. He picked us up,called the parts store for a new alternator then installed it himself. Recharged the battery and we were on our way. I know they cant do things like this for everyone but we were happy to know there are people like Keith. Hardworking honest helpful. Thank You!
