Roast a Goose

Nothing is more American, and its an alternative bird that doesn't stretch your crazy nephews idea of what is or isn't appropriate for the holiday. I brine mine in apple cider, thyme, salt and sorghum, and roast it to just past medium. It's an awesome addition to any table.
