Church Brew Works - Pittsburgh, PA
Some people go to church to fill their minds with ideas. Others, their bellies with steak, pizza, burgers and nontraditional pierogies. Located inside a renovated Catholic church, this restaurant/bar/pub has kept most of its divine features in tact -- most notably, the stained glass that casts a heavenly glow across the copper brewing tanks where an altar used to be. With miraculous brews such as Pious Monk Dunkel and Pipe Organ Pale Ale that people swear by, it's no wonder this one has been voted "Best Microbrewery in Pittsburgh" by the readers of Pittsburgh magazine 15 years in a row.
