The Story: Bon Appetit called Franklin Barbecue "the best BBQ restaurant in America" in 2011, and Anthony Bourdain even paid it a visit for his show 'No Reservations'. What's all the fuss about? Well, down-home slow-pit barbecue, an all-wood fire smoker and a line that serpentines down the street with devotees watering the pavement with their saliva. This little number, the Tipsy Texan, is a super sammie toppling over with chopped beef, smoked sausage, coleslaw, and pickles. Top it off with a Mexican Coke and you're good to go.
