James Beard winner. Cookbook author. Humanitarian of the Year according to Share Our Strength (2010). Jody Adams has worn many hats in her decorated career as a chef. She can currently be found plying her trade as chef and co-owner of TRADE in Boston and chef/owner of the much-praised Rialto in Cambridge. Amazingly, she does have time to travel and eat out. Here's where she likes to go:
ABC Kitchen - New York, NY - "I love Dan [Kluger's] food and how he celebrates vegetables and bold flavors. It's my kind of food. And then the atmosphere makes everyone feel sexy. It's sophisticated, yet easy and welcoming to all."
Hamersley's Bistro - Boston, MA - "I might be slightly biased, but Gordon [Hamersley's] earthy natural food is always just what I want to eat. From the day they first opened their doors, it was everyone's neighborhood joint."
Osteria Mozza - Los Angeles, CA - "Loud and a little crazy, Nancy [Silverton's] place offers really fun and delicious Italian food and you will probably see a Hollywood star!"
Red Rooster - New York, NY - "Eating at Red Rooster is an event. The food is simple and great, but it's the people and the energy that make the place."
Primo - Rockland, ME - "I try to make an annual visit to Rockland, Maine, each year just to eat at Primo... several times. You feel like you've stepped into another time and place where you can see exactly where your food comes from. Melissa [Kelly] and Price [Kushner] have created something magical."
