Maui Moco at the Fairmont Kea Lani Restaurant
Hawaii is known for many things -- namely glorious beaches, pineapples and weather so good it stays under your skin all year long. It's also known for the dish loco moco, a crazy twist on the steak 'n' egg franchise. This variation from the Kea Lani Restaurant in Maui (coined Maui Moco) ups the ante a bit. It comes with seasoned Maui Cattle Company steak, two eggs (any style) and steamed white rice under a magnificent mess of Maui onion gravy. Need protein? Say aloha to my little friend.
