1. Candyland Smash

The Film: 'Django Unchained'
The Hotel: Mondrian SoHo

- 2 oz. Del Maguey Vida Mezcal
- .5 oz. Barenjager
- .5 oz. Agave
- 3 lemon chunks
- Fresh mint

Directions: Muddle lemon, mint and agave in the bottom of a mixing glass. Add all other ingredients and shake over ice. Strain into a rocks glass over crushed ice and garnish with a mint sprig.

2. Bourbon Smash

The Film: 'Zero Dark Thirty'
The Hotel: Hudson

- 1 1/2 oz. Bulleit Bourbon
- 4 lemon chunks
- 1/2 oz. Grand Marnier
- 1/2 oz. simple syrup
- 6-8 mint leaves muddled

Directions: Muddle fresh lemon juice, simple syrup, Grand Marnier, and mint leaves. Add bourbon and shake well with ice. Strain into a rocks glass filled with crushed ice. Garnish with a mint sprig.

3. Hushpuppy Punch

The Film: 'Beasts of the Southern Wild'
The Hotel: Mondrian SoHo

- 1.5 oz. Pierre Ferrand 1840 Cognac
- .75 oz. Amaretto
- 2 oz. Pineapple Juice
- 2 oz. Orange Juice
- .25 oz. Lime Juice
- .25 oz. Grenadine

Directions: Shake all ingredients over ice and strain into a brandy snifter filled with crushed ice. Garnish with an orange, cherry flag and a pineapple wedge.

4. The French Revolution

The Film: 'Les Miserables'
The Hotel: Royalton

- 1 1/2 oz. Mount Gay
- 3/4 lime
- 3/4 simple
- 1 oz. Sixpoint Bengali Tiger IPA

Add: Muddled orange, brown sugar, mint coupe, a splash of champagne and mint garnish

- 2 oz. Michter's Rye
- 1 oz. Isola House Vermouth
- 1 oz. Sixpoint Bengali Tiger IPA

Directions: Add rye and vermouth to a mixing glass and stir over ice. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass and top with the IPA.

6. Excelsior

The Film: 'Silver Linings Playbook'
The Hotel: Royalton

- 2 sage leaves
- 2 cucumber slices
- 1/2 oz. agave
- 1/4 oz yuzu
- 2 oz. espolon

Directions: Muddle, shake, strain, coupe, splash of Prosecco, top with a cucumber garnish

7. Pink Slip

The Film: 'Lincoln'
The Hotel: Hudson

- 1 oz. Absolut Hibiskus
- 1 oz. Combier Pamplemousse Rose
- 1/2 oz. passion fruit puree
- 1/2 oz. pineapple juice
- Charge with Veuve Clicquot
- 3 dashes Peychauds bitters

Directions: Shake all ingredients except Champagne and Peychauds bitters with ice until chilled. Strain shaker contents into a chilled coupe glass. Top with Champagne and 3 dashes of Peychauds bitters. Garnish with a grapefruit peel and a smile.

8. Amor

The Film: 'Amour'
The Hotel: Royalton

- 2 oz. Beefeater
- 1/2 oz. peche vigne
- 1/2 oz. passion fruit puree
- 1/2 oz. maraschino
- 8 drops rosewater

Directions: Stir, strain, coupe, then add lemon zest and garnish with rosebud

9. Vanilla Creme Soda

- 3/4 oz. Absolut Vanilla
- 3/4 oz. Tuaca
- 4 oz. Boylan Bottlework's Creme Soda

Directions: Build all ingredients over Kold Draft ice in a small beer mug. Garnish with one long vanilla wafer.
