Historic Hill Inn only makes reservations over the phone. Therefore, avoid what happened to me, and make sure to ask for a confirmation via email or mail. My experience with Historic Hill Inn never occurred because they booked me for the wrong weekend( I requested August, and they booked me for July apparently). And then I received a phone call from them asking why I didn't show up for my reservation, to which I replied that I did not reserve that weekend. They went on to call me a ""liar"" and said that I was trying to back out of my reservation. Meanwhile, my credit card was already charged for the first night, why would I just not show up for a reservation? They would not credit me for the first night, which was their mistake for the wrong booking. Therefore, be certain to ask for a receipt of confirmation to make sure that you are booked correctly. I cannot speak to the customer service once you arrive, however, my initial interaction was not a positive one.
