We live in Va Beach, Va and when crave Italian food we go to Luigi's . Prices are a little high, but you pay more for a Caciliac than you do and Impala. The garlic knots are to die for, the quanity of food is more than we can eat and we usually take some home for a 2nd meal. The staff is friendly and the the chef & owner are very approachable. It has been aware the Emril seal of approval, the autographed skillet displayed in the dining room. Sometimes after a long day at Busch Gardens we will stop in for a snack on the way back to Va Beach. If possible I would give them a 5th star!

Brickhouse Tavern is a great locally owned tavern with friendly patrons, great staff & owner operators who go the extra mile for their patrons. Pizza, best around, subs, burgers, salads, pasta's, deserts & awesome wings, it's all good & priced right. It is clean, service rocks, & they run daily specials. They just added three more flat screens & can play eight NFL games on Sunday's. If haven't been there go check it out, its worth it. Family time before 9pm, after 9pm the younger crowd comes in & it fills up quick with polite & friendly CNU students.
In the immediate surroundings (just across the street) is a strip club. :0( Doesn't make one feel as if they are in the best area of town. Take a moment to park your vehicle and step inside this shopping center restaurante to see it's true beauty. Italian mirals on walls and pleasant waitresses welcome you. Food was good and priced fairly. Something on the menu for everyone's taste from veal, chicken, pork, to seafood. As I said earlier, don't judge a book by it's cover. This one will surprise you if you do.
