China Buffet

My guest and I had decided to have Chinese food for lunch, but only from a place that was clean. I was delighted as I drove into the parking lot of this restaurant. I could tell by looking through the window that this was my kind of restaurant. No dim lights or dark atmosphere to make me feel that there was something to hide. We were greeted at the door by a polite hostess. I asked for the price of the buffet. She responded with $5.99 with a drink. We found a quite spot in the center of the restaurant. We got there about 11:45 am on Saturday morning. I was impressed with the variety of items on the buffet. There was even a salad bar and small dessert bar that included fruit, cupcakes and pudding. As far as the Chinese part of the buffet, there was fried rice (which was brown rice with egg and onion) It didn't look that great so I didn't try it. On the positive side there was lo-mein, shrimp with vegetables, chicken and broccoli, beef and broccoli, curry chic ken with onions (extremely good) sweet and sour chicken, sweet and sour shrimp (also very good), general TSO chicken, sesame chicken, egg drop soup, trench fries, onion rings, dough nuts with sugar, egg rolls, cheese wantons, and a few other things on the side like mushrooms and crunchy noodles to make your own special dish. I think there was enough variety to satisfy children too. Overall the buffet had quite a variety that you typically get at Chinese buffets. The restaurant was quiet. The restrooms were clean. It looks somewhat new inside. The chef kept bringing out fresh foods when needed. The buffet is also available in takeout. There was a sign that said %50 off take out buffet after 2pm. I would recommend this restaurant to a friend.
